Clint was a good friend.  We were roommates during our freshman year at Cal Poly and had a lot of great times together.  In high school, Clint dated a young woman, who like Clint was a competitive water skier.  She also had an identical twin to whom Clint introduced me.  Our double dates were very uncomfortable.  The twins dressed exactly alike, and I was rarely sure which one I was with.  I never let Clint know (and he never had a clue) that his girlfriend told me she had her sister go out with Clint on their third date.

Yes, Clint was an exceptional water skier.  I remember going with him and his parents in the Delta and he would waterski on just his bare feet, no skis.  Also, I remember being at Clint's house with our other friends (like Steve Arnold and Carl Cork) working out with weights in his basement gym (and I use the term gym loosely).

I recall Clint well and I also knew his brother Steve. I had a motorcycle and Clint helped me rebuild the motor but I had left it at his house on Blair. He called me one morning telling me his Dad was about to throw the motor away and I better get up there. I did. I recall playing "mud ball" football in deplorable conditions at Witter Field with Clint in our heavy Hippy days. Big fun. Clint had an easy going way about him and was always cool and sharp. He is missed.
